Ricky's Sushi - Portland Oregon #1

Best sushi burritos EVER!! We make special trips from several towns over, just for the Dragon Burrito, seaweed salad, and the Miso soup is divine. The crew is outstanding everytime, always making sure our order and experience is perfect.

The Yard has some great food options and Ricky’s is a highlight. LOVED my okra roll! Sizeable bites with solid flavor. They offered some free miso while waiting which was lovely. Lots of veg roll options and they are affordable. Glad I didn’t get a chance to eat all day otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to polish off the Okra and Montavilla rolls in one sitting. My roommate really liked her Vegas roll as well. Satisfies customers and we’re definitely coming back here.

So many yummy vegan options available here. Flavors were great and fresh. We had the okra roll, the jalapeño popper roll, the veggie tempura roll, the tofu roll, and the avocado and cucumber mini rolls. It turned out to be more food than needed for two people, but everything was great. We especially loved the okra and veggie tempura rolls. The people working there knew exactly what vegan meant and used vegan cream cheese and mayo, etc. Looking forward to trying more of their vegan menu in the future.

I was a little bit hesitant getting raw fish from a cart instead of a restaurant. But let me tell you that it is some of the freshest sushi I’ve had in Portland. The rolls are made after you order. The fish is fresh and the avocado was even more delicious really good food. All of the carts near by make it easy for everyone to find a bite to enjoy. I ordered a mango shake next door and that was phenomenal as well.

The sushi was made so beautifully, fish was fresh, and the spicy miso soup was delicious. Ricky is such a sweet guy, while we were there he brought over a soup he made for the neighboring food cart, great community energy. I will be back again and highly recommend for anyone looking for tasty affordable sushi. Thank you Ricky!

I love stopping by this spot for a quick cucumber roll because it’s so affordable and the service is so amazing at the cart! I’ve ordered the cucumber roll and cucumber/avocado roll many times and they’re huge servings for a very low price. Once when I came to the cart and it was cold and rainy, they gave me a complimentary miso soup which was sooooo nice and I still remember the gesture! Today I just asked for a cucumber roll and I was given a cucumber roll and a cucumber/avocado roll extra for no charge. Not sure if it was a mistake or not but I’m a happy customer and will continue to return and tell others :-)

I recommend the Portland roll, avacado with shrimp, soooo good. Such a good place, prices are good too. Thanks guys! I got two orders which is why I selected $10-$20, I'm glad I did, too!
